Frequently asked questions
Is Waycairn an official Blizzard product?+
No. Waycairn is an independent tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment. We use no Blizzard logos or artwork.
When can I use it?+
We are mapping routes during the Forever beta (starting 09/17/2026). Waitlist members get priority access to the private version, ahead of the public opening planned for the game's launch on 11/04/2026.
Is the addon paid? Is it allowed?+
The companion addon is and will remain free, open source and ad-free, in line with World of Warcraft's addon rules. It only displays your plan and records your progress, with no gameplay automation. You can also export your plan to Guidelime.
How is this different from a regular leveling guide?+
A guide gives everyone the same route. Waycairn computes yours, from your class, race, professions, play style (solo, duo or group), playtime and goal, and recalculates it when the game or your pace changes.
Where does the data come from?+
From our own in-game mapping, anonymous opt-in addon telemetry and community corrections. We don't copy content from other sites: for detailed entries we link to the reference databases.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes, in one click from your account. The Season Pass never renews automatically.
